| Notes/History Options
|
| The email options enables/disables the conversion of ACT! Notes/History into the Outlook Contact/Journal.
|

| History/Notes Selection Filter:
|
| Do not convert Notes/History - when selected, no notes/history items in ACT! are converted.
|
| Convert All Notes/History - when selected, all the notes/history are converted
|
| Convert Only Notes/History items Owned/Managed by the Selected User - when selected, only the Notes/History items that belong to the user are converted.
|

| Converting Notes/History to the Outlook Journal
|
| When enabled, this option allows you convert all the Notes/History/Documents to the Journal in Outlook. You can also add customization options to the journal subject string such as the type of history entry, the date, and owner. Currently, only embedded attachments are supported.

| · | Add History Type to Subject String. When enabled, the history type (Notes, Contact Deleted, Call Completed, etc.) is added to the subject string in the Journal Item.
|
| · | Add Date to Subject Line. When enabled, the date of the Notes/History/Document is added to the subject line in the journal. This makes it easy for searching and listing.
|
| · | Add Owner Name to Subject Line. Here you can add the ACT! owner name to the Journal item in parenthesis i.e. (Chris Huffman).
|
| · | Copy ALL Attachments to Destination Folder. By default, only the link to the attachment is put into the journal. However, when this option is set, the attachment is copied to the destination folder selected. When attachments are converted, they are all copied to the destination folder.

| Converting Notes/History to the Outlook Contact Body Text
|
| When enabled, this takes the Notes/History for each contact, concatenates all the text and puts the text into the contact's body text as shown below.
|
| You can control the size of this text by manipulating the size in the "Maximum Size of Body Text Per Contact" Field.
|

| Notes/History Date Filter
|
| Enabling this option, filters out any History/Note item that is older that the selected date.
|
|
|
| Alternate Attachments Source Folder
|
| If the attachment in the history does not exist in the path provided by ACT!, look for the file in the Alternate Attachments Source Folder.
|
|
|
| Converted Attachments Destination Folder
|
| This folder is the folder where converted attachments are copied to. The software automatically converts ACT! Emails with .ima and .iml extension into Outlook .msg emails. This is where these emails are deposited when they are converted.
